YM2000 Radiator Attachments

I purchased my first tractor about a year ago - a YM2000. After I finally purchased an operator manual for the tractor, I noted a reference to a radiator sub-tank and also to a radiator screen.

After purchasing and receiving the radiator sub-tank, I could not find a description or picture of any type of mounting bracket. I purchased some hardware items at Home Depot and created one myself. I also decided to build my own radiator screen. I have attached a picture showing both the sub-tank bracket and screen attachment. I am curious to see a picture of either one of these items as manufactured by Yanmar. Please send picture if you have.

Looks real good! Did you intend for the Overflow bottle to be in front of the radiator, was this the original
factory location?, or was there just no Room anywhere else? The location you have it in probably won't
cause an Air-flow problem. Lloyd

I can't send a picture right now, but you do have it the right area. My set up is original and looks just like that.

I saw that you hadn't got a picture from anyone else of the bottle and screen, so I went out just now and took a picture of mine on my MY1700. You have it in the right place, looking good. I took my picture from the other side so you could see what the factory screen looks like.

Nice pic.. Now I know what my 1700 was like from the factory. When I got my tractor the overflow tube just hung open in the air.. I added a universal kit from carquest, and it worked great.. I almost got it in the factory spot as well.

Here's one on a YM2000B, different shaped bottle, but looks like you got the factory bracket and screen down pretty well.

Any chance you can snap a pic from the bottle side. I cannot determine how the bottle is fastened to the radiator.

OK here is one that is looking at it front. It is spot welded to the radiator.

Another one, I removed the bottle, so you could see what holds it, and it has a hose clamp that goes around the bottle that holds it in place.

Last one, looking down on it, it shows the bracket how it is spoted to the radiator.
