I was going to say the same thing, I would probably destroy anything I attached underneath. I wish there were a drain on the side or axle or something but I only see one at the extreme bottom of the sump.
Here's an example where I went aground and would have torn off any fittings down there. (Posted in my thread 'ALMOST Stuck in the Mud', January 2013).
But that is a good idea, it opens up that possibility for someone who does have multiple drain points. Or doesn't abuse their tractor like this.
