YM2002D Power beyond
Recieved my fittings today and am now plumbed for power beyond. Thank you all for the good advice. Anything looks wrong here please let me know.
1st picture: power beyond plug installed in top opening.
2nd picture: Tank return. That is a 3/8" opening directly below my dipstick. That is 1/2"ID hose.
3rd picture: Showing the tank return flow at about 1500rpm with control valve engaged.
4th picture: Loader valve with quick disconnects installed.
5th picture: Another shot.
6th picture: Yet another
7th picture: Loader valve with loader attached
8th picture: Another shot with loader attached
Those are 1/4" disconnects rated at 7gpm. My pump is rated at 6.34gpm. Everything seems to work as it should. I got 36 seconds full up and down at 800rpm, full curl 24 seconds. Old time 38 and 30.
I got 15 seconds full up and down at 1500rpm, full curl in 12 seconds. Old time real close to the same.Last edited by winston1; 02-15-2013 at 05:52 PM.

Re: YM2002D Power beyond
Nice shots of the valve and sump dump. How about some of the supply and system return?

Re: YM2002D Power beyond
I measured the size and threads as close as I could, then cut cut the ends off a tubing adapter having appx m16-1.5 threads, leaving only the tube threads and hex, welded up the hole, ground the hex down to round and left just enough for an o-ring to seal against. One similiar to this. Mr. Heater® 3/8 in. Male Pipe x Male Flare - 3100427 | Tractor Supply Company

Re: YM2002D Power beyond
Difficult to get a good shot but the steel tubing line coming from the power steering diverter valve to the 3 point had originally been cut, tubing fittings put on each end and then routed through the loader valve. I had put quick couplings on it and used them when taking my loader off. With my "new" power beyond I removed those quick couplings per good advice from those in the know. The bottom connection on the loader valve is the inlet coming from the cut tubing line and the hose on the top of the valve is power beyond going back the the original cut tubing enroute to the 3 point. The tank return line coming off the valve is the one with the hose clamp. Not very good with words, hope this makes a little sense.

Looks good! You did yours the way the pros recommend. I should follow your example.
And great photos!

Re: YM2002D Power beyond
Can you tell me where the line on the top of the valve goes to? Can you post a pic? I have the same valve and this looks good.

Re: YM2002D Power beyond
I guess I'm confused
I guess I'm confused (normal). I can't tell if the top most hose (the one that comes through the metal angle at top of picture) goes to the tank or to something else?
