I ran my tractor today for the first time since I added my sunpro water temp gauge. I ran it for about 45 minutes and noticed the temperature gauge never read over 145 degrees. Can this be right? What is the normal temp range on a ym2000? Thanks in advance.

That could be right. The YM2000 has a water pump, if memory serves me. I had a YM1700, no pump, and it usually ran 180-190 in the summer.

That sounds about right. My YM2000B has a guage, but doesn't show temp #'s, only marks, and never gets above the 1/4 mark unless the rad starts to clog up.

That sounds about right. I have a YM1700 with a water pump from a YM2000 (with SunPro gauges) and the water temp runs from about 130-160. It all depends and what I am doing and the outside temperature.

My YM 1300D never climbed above 140 degrees after 1 Hr of bushogging at 2500 RPM. I was suprised to say the least. -Keith

Thanks for the help, I ran it today for a few hours and it read between 145 and 150 degrees. Everything looked good. This is my first tractor so I'm sure I'll have more questions later on, but I'm really glad I decided on this Yanmar!!! I'm having a blast with it. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
