So last night I decided to run the valves and change oils and such. The valves were around 12-14 thousandths should be .008. No big deal but at only 300 hrs seems a bit odd. Anyone else seen much change in valve clearance ?

Wow, you have a 155 with only 300 hours? That does seem a bit excessive for 300 hours but not sure about 38+ years. :D

I know right. It's a real nice tractor. Almost too nice. Lol. .004 isn't bad given the fact this thing turns 2700 and the rocker arms aren't very big. And having decompression isn't doing valve spring pressure much favors over the years. But was just wondering what anyone else has seen in theirs

Not the best pics but the nephews loved driving it. Mind you it was in low range first gear at 1500 rpm lol

My YM2000B only has about 680 hours.

Looks to have been kept in the shed since 1980. Assuming that is the original paint.

I put 827 hours on my 2002D in the six years I had it. I have put 561 hours on my Bobcat in the 2-1/2 years I've had it. No doubt we all use our tractors differently.
