Your best bet is to find a welder willing to build one or adapt a used one for you. The problem will be to find someone willing to accept the potential liability.
So far I haven't found any company willing to take on the product liability risk for an after-market
ROPS. Thus you're left with fabricating one yourself, or finding a local welding shop that will probably require you to sign some sort of indemnification before they'll do something for you.
Thanks everyone for your help with the ROPS for my 2000. Does anyone know any thing about rear loaders for tractors? I saw a website that sells them, maybe someone could tell me how well this system works. Thanks.
I am new owner of a Yanmar 2000. I bought the op manual for the tractor, but I am still not sure what weight motor oil I should use. I live in north Ga. Our summer tempatures are often close to 90 but our winter tempatures are usually not lower than the 20's. Can someone advise me about the best weight of motor oil for this region. Thanks
I live in MD where the summers are just about as hot, and the winters can be much colder. I use Shell Rotella T 15W40 diesel rated oil. Get it at your local WalMart for about $6.50/gal. Whatever you use, make sure it is diesel rated.
