Under the seat on my 195D there is a valve with a large knob, marked open-close. when I close it it seems to block the flow and load up the pump. Can ayoneone tell me its use? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

May be the drop rate for your 3pt. Closing it closes the ehaust for the lift cylinder

The valve with the large knob down by your feet is the servicing stop valve to hold the 3ph in the raised position for servicing, and should be fully open or closed. The drop rate valve is a small handle under the seat, (mine is red), for adjusting the rate of descent of an implement, usually about 2 seconds.

Yup! I figured out the drop valve okay.
So the other valve should only be closed when the engine isn't running??

never heard the "fully open or fully closed" info. I always just had it open a little bit so the implements would drop at a not too fast speed. Anyone else agree with the fully open/closed valve adjustment? thanks, brett w
