Where do you use that nice Yanmar you have? I know there is no place to run it in Metairie. I live right across the river from you in Waggaman where I work my Yanmar 1802 on 14 acres and it has never failed me yet.

Still own property in Hammond & Robert, LA. Use it up there! You are right Metairie is far too suburban for tractors....Well, not really with the storm, I still see tons of heavy equipment....Would be a PERFECT size for blade work and lawn preparation which is high on the list with all of the FEMA trailers being taken out as people move back in....(at least some of the lucky ones)

Nice to meet you!

Yes, I was in a hunting club in Watson for many years and hunted all over Livingston parish.

You have the ideal size tractor to do that traveling back and forth with. It is easy to pull with almost any truck and trailer. The only problem I have with mine is that I have a 16 foot trailer and my 1802 is 16' 3" long with the fel and bush hog and I have to take the rear wheel off the bush hog to close the trailer tailgate. Years ago I bought my International 364 with box blade and bush hog in Robert. It weighed 6000 pounds and I brought it home in my 5000 pound rated trailer and sweated all the way waiting for an axle to break or a tire to blow but I made it.
