Default PIC of my Yamar YM1700

Just wanted to share a pic of my tractor. Bought it May 2004.
Bought the tractor, a new 5' grader blade and a new 5' box blade.
Hour meter showed 581 hours for whatever that is worth.

Meisal,
Nice ride. Maybe it will prompt more to post some pics of theirs.

Good looking tractor...I especially like the battle scar across the hood eyebrow. Seriously! If it were my personal tractor I would leave it there...something that an obsessive-compulsive painter would drive nuts (like me). The up side is traversing thorn bushes, briar patches and low level tree branches without fear of scratching anything .

Mr. Mark,
That's exactly what I plan on doing. At first I was going to knock the dent (battle scar) out and make it look pretty but I think think it adds personality.

And besides the way I drive it would probably end up with more wounds.

Meisal,
Nice tractor!!! Another Louisiana fella! lots of pines and not swampy.......Are you in Central/Northern LA? Not that we don't have pines, but deep south LA, it seems different with the topology!

Saintroad,
I presently live in Covington. Just across the causeway from New Orleans.

The picture of my tractor is on my property in Bossier Parish (Benton) out by Cypress lake.
I just built a new house there but haven't made the move yet.

I have 2.5 acres there. The pine trees are only at the road frontage.
Rest of the area is giant oaks and other hardwood trees.
Just leaving most of the pine so I can hide back in the woods.

Here in Covington everything is pine. What's left after Katrina anyway.
I do miss being up north.

Where are you from?

Grew up on westbank of NOLA, then lived in Hammond & Mandeville until storm then moved to Metairie. I know you know how close I am now to you!!! Just a jump over the Causeway...
