milky transmission/ hydraulic fluid in ym155

He said the fluid was clear this am, doesn't sound like water contamination to me........

Drain some into a jar.. the water should settle out.

It's either foamed with air .. or emulsified with water. neither are good for lubes.. or pumps.

not trying to b a smart a#### here but, If you want or need to know if it's water or not. You could have an oil analysist done on the oil. $15 - $20.00

Not saying it can't, but I've never seen water settle out of oil once it's emulsified. I've seen it with gasoline, but not oil..........
But like Soundguy says, it's not good either way..........

I've seen it settle out.. just have to wait a while..(long while). I'm guessing the oil type may make a difference too.

In any case.. I agree..air or water entrainment ain't good.
