:D Ok, crew. I have had more time to spend with my YM2000. I have a few more new owner questions.

1. After careful review of my problem with implements banging into my rear tires, I noticed that I only have chains on the outside of each sway bar. I don't have a center drawbar post nor any chains coming from the inside to control the spread of the swaybars. Do I need an aftermarket option like the one shown here: New 3 Point Hitch, New Three Point Hitch at Ernie's Imports or what?

2. What also is meant by using the "widest" position on the tires?

3. I bought a replacement seat from Hoye only to notice that it hits the rear screw (screw that has spring attached to adjust rear speed let-down on the hydraulic lift I believe) before it hits the 2 flat metal seat support plates. Any idea if I need another type of seat or is there a secret to seat placement?

4. Can someone take some pics of their rear swaybar/chains setup and seat attachment pics for me to see how it is "supposed" to look. My YM2000 is the only one I have any visual experience with.

Thank you so very much!

That's all I have on my 2000, with an implement attached and the chains snug they should not hit your tires. I did replace my straight lower arms with the kind that flair out at the end. (See Hoye) That keeps the spread past the tires. I turn all my pins in on all my attachments to keep the spread to a minimum. See my drawing, the view is from the rear looking down on the arms. Hope this helps...

Some rims are made with adjmts for offset and depending upon how the rims are mounted, they either increase or decrease the offset of the rims/tires. You may or may not have rims of this design.

Don't think you want to have sway control on both sides of the 3pt lower arms. If you restrict the movement in both directions you won't be able to swing arms so implements can be installed/removed without freeing up the movement to occomodate the implement.

You could cross the chains on the inside, which is how they work on the illustration you posted. That's how I did them on my 1602D........

That's the way those sway chains are supposed to work. Right chain controls the left side and verse vica. You can reverse your rear tires for a wider stance if not already done.

...And there should be two rubber stops bolted to the seat track about 2" total distance from the metal frame to the seat bottom.

Ok, thanks.

Apparently I have no "seat track" nor any rubber stops....just the 2 metal plates on either side under the seat. Anyone provide a source for the 'seat track' and/or rubber needed for this?

Thanks so much for enduring my ignorance... ;)

I see that you have service and owners manuals, but you also need a parts manual. Only YOU can know what your tractor is missing.

I have all of the manuals, I just thought asking questions in a forum would be more beneficial and useful. Perhaps we could just change the forum title to read, Don't Post, just RTFM and have a nice day.

I don't know what RTFM means, but I'm done.
