Branson 3510 Engine oil filter
Anyone know the part number for the engine oil filter for a Branson 3510? Last year my dealer sold me a YN148 which was identical to the one that originall came with the tractor. This year they sold be a blue colored filter that had the word HYDRAULIC on the box part number HH11050000A3.
Dealer assured me it was the correct one but the second day after the oil change the filter had a massive leak from the seal.

Re: Branson 3510 Engine oil filter
The HH11050000A3 is the correct filter for your 3510, according to my owners manual anyway. Make sure that your old seal came off the engine when you changed your filter, it could be as simple as having 2 seals between the engine/filter instead of just one. H.

B179 Baldwin, or equivalent Wix or Napa is fine.

Re: Branson 3510 Engine oil filter
Thanks, I'm sure there was only one seal on it when I did the oil change (the old seal is still in the old filter).
I'll install a new filter just to be sure. Don't want to have to replace the motor!!
