Farmall 65A - Great Tractor Posted by Jerry on 08/03/2012

I moved up from a Ford 2N tractor so this is a big change for me. The tractor has been a great upgrade with a lot more power. I also picked up a three bottom 16" plow and this tractor does a good job. The four wheel drive is really nice and with a front end loader I can move snow or dirt as needed.

I also pull a Brushhog disc harrow and a six foot Brushhog rotary cutter both work great with this tractor. I also use the tractor in the fall and winter when cutting firewood to drag it out of the woods and also split the wood with a hydraulic splitter that works great with the tractor just at idle. Although the tractor uses older technology with mechanical transmission etc. but is fine with me, reliable and a real workhorse.
