Farmall 140 for Plant Nursery Posted by Billy on 06/08/2013

My in-laws own many tractors but the ones I've adopted are the 140s. They are almost 40 years old and still very useful around the farm for gardening as well as keeping the middles between the rows of nursery plants clean.

Pros: All-around usefulness, especially the 'offset' operator platform which is nice for being able to see while straddling the rows and plowing dirt toward the plants. Cons: Tough to get a good schematic. The electrical system has gone through several changes over the years. I having a problem with the battery charging circuit.
