Hard to Review a Tractor I Haven't Been Able to Use Yet Posted by james serwack on 03/21/2013

WellI am a tractor newb. I purchased a '67 Ford 2000. Tractor seems to run real good. Tach does not work. Was leaking hydraulic fluid from brake pedal cross shaft. Shaft wore out. Leaks diesel from bad hoses and filter. Starter doesn't start tractor consistently.

Overall the tractor is in good shape, shifts fine, hydraulics work good, and runs good. The items listed are just items that have been neglected over the last I'd say 10 years.

I have changed seals, pedal bushings, cross shaft, and fluid in rearend. Now onto the diesel leaks and starter. After that it will be real minor things. More like quirks, tach not working, and like no lights at all. Plan to use this tractor at our family hunting property.
