I live in south central Texas and we've been in a severe drought for years. Because of that, I haven't had to cut grass very often in the past 4 years; hence only 93 hours on the clock cutting 5 acres. Now, the tractor has lost momentum and actually stops on small inclines.
Doing a search, I've found that others have experienced the same problem. A new transaxle is $600; I'm not sure about a rebuild, haven't checked. It's out of warranty at 4 years, but at only 93 hours, Husqvarna should replace it. Knowing this now, I would never buy another tractor with this transaxle: TUFFTORQ K46 AW.
