The Best Tractor in the 50's Posted by Gary Howard on 10/04/2012

This tractor has pulled trees, lifted boulders, and plowed a garden of which I still use a trip plow. The engine was re-built in the late 80's or early 90's buy Butler County Community College, and, they did a very excellent job.

I used the tractor as above mentioned, and then let it sit out in the weather for some 5 years. Since I've retired I, added new oil & grease all the way through it, restarted the engine, and it started and ran as though I've never let it sit for 5 years.

I am slowly rebuilding it,,, I've added new rear wheels, new battery box, new 6 volt alternator positive ground, rewired with new wiring, its a great tractor. I bought this tractor from my Uncle Tom, It will be with me till I die. - Gary
