Awesome Work Horse! Posted by Dana Melius on 06/09/2013

I have a custom fencing company and to be honest the best way to describe the way I use this tractor is abusive! Haha.

I use it for tearing out fence and pushing trees out, moving rocks, mowing 6 ft. tall cat tails, lifting full pallets of wire and posts, my post hole digger, and wood post pounder.

It handles most tasks with ease. It will climb just about anything you point it at and will go through mud and soft ground almost as good a 4wheeler. I have actually mowed cattails in water up to the platform you feet are on!

I have been in business for almost 20 years and have always run Kubotas. This is my 3rd one and it will more than likely last the duration of my fencing career. My total expense on repair of all 3 machines I have owned I would say is less than $500.00. Just a couple seals and linkage on a loader. Nothing on my mx5100 yet though. She does like her fuel more than my previous machines but I also went from an L3710 to this one so I expected that.

The long and the short of it is this is a great tractor with only a few minor shortcomings that are very much minimized by all the good attributes it has!
