Only owned the tractor for a few weeks, so I can't really comment on the long term reliability. I did do a lot of research and test driving tractors of friends and test sitting in showroom models of primarily Kubota and John Deere. My LS3038H has all of the features I wanted (loader and PTO for various implements). My primary use is a 3/4 acre garden.
The only less than optimum features I have noticed to date are that the control mount for the loader extends so far into the operator space that you cannot exit the drivers seat to the right side. You must enter and exit from the left side.
Also, the rated digging depth for the loader is only 2 inches compared to 5 or 6 inches for other models and brands. This is not a problem for me since I do not plan to do any digging, but might pose a problem if you need to do a lot of digging.
