Purchased the Mahindra 2816 HST after too little research. It's for homeowner use, so it's low-use but on highly variable jobs. Much of the time it's used to drag felled trees, haul cut wood and/or brush on trailer, or carry split wood from pile to house by bucket.
Better research would have prevented me from getting the "industrial" tires. Okay for turf or gravel road work, but very poor in wet conditions over uneven ground, roots, rocks.
"Fit and finish" on control panel, ignition switch (finicky), and fuel gauge (leisurely in getting to correct reading) would not be confused with Kubota. Loader control extremely touchy, not smooth; hydraulic pump is emphatic. Like its weight, ruggedness (first loader, so have banged it around a lot), and relatively easy service access.
