Massey 2625 Series Posted by Bobby Addington on 12/05/2012

I bought this tractor over a month ago. I did a lot of research before buying this model. After hours of research and not many reviews, I decided to move forward on the purchase. I heard this tractor had some issues from the start of production. One was the engine balancer, another was not wanting to start when cold. The recall had been done on the balancer when I bought it and the tractor seems to run fine. As far as it not wanting to crank when cold outside, I have not experienced that. This tractor has the perfect amount of power for me.

The 2615 wasn't enough and the 2635 was too much. Like the other reviewer stated this tractor is a bit old school, but that's what I like the most about it. It does have a low center of gravity and does just fine bush hogging the very steep hills on our farm.

The only fault I have is the paint on the tractor is blistering in a few places. This is due to rust underneath the paint. I think the quality of metal prepping was very poor before they painted this tractor. Other than that, this is a very good tractor in my opinion.
