Boomer 50 Posted by Pete Droesch on 05/28/2013

My previous tractors were a Ford 8N and a early '70's IH 454. Considering I had to work on the IH EVERY time, I used it and it is VERY loud. The Boomer 50 is a dream. Plenty of power to pull a 10ft. offset disc or three bottom plow.

My two complaints:
1. No draft control
2. PTO engages by a switch so one has no slipping the PTO engagement. The machine was on sale that included $2000 off for New Holland not financing it and the loader was free.

The tractor was made in Korea so the seating would be cramped for a taller person. I'm 5'8" and it fits me fine.
