I have a New Holland L -170, year is a 2007 and its been such a great tractor, I would put it up against any other and think I could do faster and better than the others. I got the one that has pilot controls and now that I have this I could never go back to the stick like in my other Bobcat. They are miles apart though.
I much prefer the New Holland over the Bobcat. I had a problem with my new Holland, and that the main pump went out because of a failure of a piece connecting the pump to the engine, cost almost 6 thousand dollars to fix and the New Holland company would not cover it even though it only had 300 hrs on it.
They did pay for the labor and I paid for the parts, which were 2/3 of the cost. So as far as I can say, it is an awesome tractor with only one possible failure that could cost a lot to repair if it breaks, bad design if you asked me, hope it does not ever happen again or I will be trading for some other brand.
