You Can Do Better Posted by Morris Breedlove on 04/10/2012

The Tytan is a tough piece of iron. Some parts are crudely finished, welds are sturdy but don't look good.

I bought this unit used from the importer. It looked good on the lot but after some use it appeared to have been assembled from used parts from more than one tractor. I have spent more time working on it than with it.

The engine is rugged, easy to start, plenty of power and very economical on fuel. The hydraulics are rather fragile and poorly plumbed. Hydrostatic steering doesn't work if engine is not running. Leaks fluid from power cylinder shaft. The 3 point has a complicated adjustment system.

The manuals leave a lot to be desired. Poorly translated and not laid out in an orderly fashion. Have a lot of information you don't need or want, lack some that you do.
