Please read and understand our rules before posting photos:
- Do not upload offensive photos (pornography, indecency, etc).
- Do not upload photos containing images of excessive blood, guts, dead
animals, or other images that may be offensive to some viewers.
- Do not upload photos of illegal drugs, substances, firearms, or images
of illegal activities.
- Do not upload photos that you do not own or did not take. You must
own the copyright to the photos you post, or have permission from the
copyright holder.
- By uploading photos, you grant TractorByNet.com a royalty-free license
to reproduce, republish, modify and distribute your photo(s) at any
time, in any way, shape or form, without notice (including online and
in print).
- By uploading photos, you agree to TractorByNet.com's published Terms
of Service.
- Please post your photos to the category that best fits the photo.

All visitors to TractorByNet.com can view photos completely free of charge. There are no limits to how many photos you can view, or which
photos you can view.

In order to upload photos, you must be a Registered TractorByNet.com
Member, and logged in. If you already registered to post on our
discussion forums, you don't need to register again; your username and
password will work here in the photos section as well as the discussion
forums and reviews section.
If you have not already registered, you may do so here.
Registered members automatically get a Member Gallery, which stores
all of your photos in one convenient gallery.

In order to log in to the photo gallery, you must have cookies enabled.
Cookies are small data files stored on your computer that allow our web
server to recognize you, and store your username and password. If you
are already logged in to our discussion forums, you should already be
recognized as logged in to the photo gallery.
If you are not already logged in, simply click the Login
link found on the photo gallery's navigation bar. (Home | Search |
Register | Login)
Once on the login screen, enter your TractorByNet.com username and password
and click the submit button. You will be logged in and forwarded to the
photo gallery home page.
Note: You must enter your username, not your display name (which
can be different from your username).

Login errors (such as invalid password or user not found) are usually
caused by one of two things:
- You're entering your display name rather than your username. You
must enter your username to log in.
- You're entering your password incorrectly. Remember to enter
your password with appropriate capitalization.
- Your cookies are invalid or corrupted. If you are sure that you have
entered your username and password correctly, your next step is to clear
your cookies.

You can clear your cookies by clicking on the Login
Problems link on the login page. You will be shown a list of the
current cookies assigned to you by TractorByNet.com. To clear them, click
the Delete These Cookies button.

After you are logged in and ready to post photos, click on the Upload
Photos link on the photo gallery main page.
On the photo upload page, you will have several options:

Please select the category that best
fits your photo(s). For example, do not upload a photo of a tractor
to an attachments category. |
Photo to upload:
500k size limit. |
In this field, you will have a browse button for five file
destination fields. Clicking on the browse button for each field
will allow you to browse your local hard drive and locate the photo
you wish to upload.
The file size limit indicates that your photo may not exceed 500kb
in file size. You may upload photos as large as you wish. Please
do not upload photos smaller than 150x150 pixels in size.

If you have a web page with several
images on it, enter the URL of that page. Our software will automatically
download the images and import them to your gallery. |
| Disk space |
These fields show you how much disk
space is available and how much is currently being used, as well as
how much disk space you have remaining on your account. |

users post replies? |
Select yes and we will e-mail you
whenever somebody posts a comment about your photo. |
After you have completed all of the necessary fields, click the Upload/Submit
button. Uploading photos may take several minutes, especially if they
are large in file size.
After the images have been uploaded to our server, you will be taken
to a preview screen that shows each photo you uploaded. The following
options are available for each image:

Entering keywords will help other
users find your photo. |
Once you have entered your information, click the Process Files
button at the bottom of the page. Your photos will now be processed and
added to the appropriate categories, as well as your personal Member
Gallery.

Photos may not exceed 500kb in file size. There are no pixel dimension
limits, but all photos exceeding 1280x1024 pixels will automatically be
resized down to 1280x1024 for the largest view.

Your personal member photo gallery has a disk space limit of 5mb (5,000kb).
For example, this would allow you to upload 20 photos which were 250kb
in file size, or 50 photos 100kb in file size.

At this time, all we offer is a free 5mb account.

Yes. The best way to search for photos is by clicking on the Search link in the photo gallery navigation bar.
The search gives you may options, including keywords, username, date range, and category selection.
Also, you will find search boxes at the top of each photo category, as well as on the main photo gallery home page.

If you see a photo that you find offensive or contains offensive material,
please click on the Report Photo link, which is found on the dark
blue bar directly under the photo, when viewing an individual photo page.

We recommend copying the page URL of the photo (I.E. http://www.tractorbynet.com/photos/showphoto.php/photo/525)
you wish to post, and pasting it in your message. We don't recommend imbedding
large photos in your messages, since that causes pages to load slower.

No. We consider photo comments to be different from (and less substantial
than) the messages you post in the discussion forums and hence, your post
count will not be incremented based on photo comments you post.
