This is a migratory Whooper who flew down to Florida with the UltraLite flight this year, he visited our front yard for a couple of days late February.

The first two Whooping Cranes of this winter appeared on 12/12/2005, a mated pair.
The National Wildlife Reseach laboratory analyzed their bands and they just flew down here from Wisconsin.
