5.5 hours of work required which included 1.5 hours of hand work with ax, shovel, chain saw and pressure washer. main roots had to be cut with ax or chain saw. I have two more this size, I think I will grind them! Backhoe works good on smaller ones. Also, this stump has been dead for two years. BH digs good but will not break roots bigger than about 1.5" in Dia.
