This photo shows the rear top hook pulling towards the excavator to break the tap root . The machine has more power pulling than pushing , so after the root is broken by pulling i use the front hook to push the stump to loosen it the other way . With a normal ripper you would pull the stump with the ripper tooth limiting the power you have available . But with my design you pull much further up increasing the power many times .
