Ive allways loved this model truck but i did'nt like the "C" section chassis as they crack , the LSD in the 9" diff never work and that Dana front end leaves a lot to be desired . So i bought a rolling chassis from a 28,000 kilometre Nissan Patrol 4X4 wagon which has a box section chassis and adapted a new crate F250 cab to it . I grafted a complete firewall out of an 11,000 kilometre XR6 Turbo Ford Falcon car into the cab to convert it to R/H drive . I also used the entire dash , air con , steering , pedal box etc and also the 300 kilowatt Turbo engine via a self made adaptor plate to the Nissan 5 speed manual . It now has 4 wheel discs , 4 coil suspension , bullet proof diffs and gearbox , cruise control , drivers airbag etc . I finished it off with a self made checker plate tray with Gooseneck ball to tow my camper when i build it .
