Description:
|
These are some shots of the long pole i towed out to the property behind my F100 . I built a 30' A frame and fitted it onto the rippers of my 931 Traxcavator and fitted a tow truck winch into the bucket . After lowering the upright poles into position i raised the 62' ridge pole and sat it on top of the uprights and secured it with 3/4" steel pins . I then made the trusses with a 10" pipe at the center of the poles to give me 25 degrees roof pitch . I then reversed the machine up the mountain to the house site and hung them over the ridge pole and secured them with the steel pins . I made the entire Southern end of the house out of glass to take in the view of the boulders and fig trees .
