Berlon Attachments Expands to East Coast

berlon_logo3Skid steer bucket and attachment manufacturer Berlon Industries has expanded its dealer network to the East Coast and has named Dick Ottman salesman for the New York state market.

“We’re pleased that dealers on the East Coast see the value in Berlon’s wide array of buckets and attachments for skid steers, wheel loaders, compact utility tractors and telehandlers,” said Mike Ebben, president of Berlon Industries.

Berlon’s dealer network now includes dealerships in the New York state communities of Clinton, Elma, Perry, and Rome, as well as South Windsor, Connecticut.

Ottman, of Elbridge, New York, has extensive experience representing farm equipment manufacturers through his company, R.B. Ottman, Inc.

“Dick is well respected in New York as a knowledgeable and trusted equipment representative,” Ebben said. “We’re honored to have someone of his calibre selling the Berlon Strong line.”

Ottman, who has served the farm sector since 1976, also holds a U.S. Army commission via the Reserve Officer Training Corps, and has served active and reserve duty.

Berlon’s buckets and attachments are used in agriculture, construction, landscaping, land clearing and snow removal sectors.

The East Coast dealerships expand Berlon’s brick-and-mortar dealership presence. Until now, Berlon’s dealer network has included locations in the Midwest, Northern Plains and Canada. Its products are also sold nationally via online retailers.
