Model 107.25007 30 HP, 54" Deck, 1187 lbs. When I Bought It
Model Year: 2012
This garden tractor is categorized as an "estate tractor." It was introduced at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. I bought this Garden Tractor from the Sears Outlet store & had never been used. I paid $4,300, web price was $6,500 on sale, MSRP was $7869. I was able to directly compare it to the GT6000 26 HP unit in the store. I accidentally started the CTX and it is so quiet that nobody noticed. The CTX9500 (Craftsman Tractor Experience) has power/tilt steering, hydraulic deck lift, electric blade height control, automatic traction control electronic fuel management (fuel injection) on a 30HP Brigg & Stratton Pro Engine and most of all dual wheel locking transaxle on 24"x12"-12 tires. The GT6000 had 26HP Kohler and was half the weight of the CTX.
Pros: 30 HP, 8 mph forward/4 mph reverse. Traction control, locking differential 1190 lbs. It cuts the same area as my Kubota T1670 in 1/2 the time.
Cons: No hydraulics for attachments. Only made for one year. No 3 point hitch available, just a sleeve hitch.
