An Outstanding Lawn Mower
Model Year: 2013
The machine came UPS from Home Depot. The assembly was very easy and quick. Basically as I remember it consisted of straightening the handle and adding gas and oil. This is an electric start model. I can't remember if I used the cord the first time. If I did, that was the only time that first summer. After sitting for a winter I tried the key in the spring, the motor turned over, but didn't start so I pulled the cord. One quick pull and it started. I haven't used the cord since. The double blade system provides an outstanding cut and the mulch system works to perfection. I changed the oil as directed the first summer and then again this spring. I also cleaned the air cleaner. Other than that there have been no other maintenance issues. The mower is as easy to run as a battery operated electric and a lot more practical. The mower will move as fast as I care to walk. My only complaint is that sometimes the wheels lock up when I try to pull it backwards. As that is not something I often do it has not been a big problem. The transmission lever is a bit stiff and takes some getting used to.
Pros: Outstanding performance, excellent cut, very reliable.
Cons: The wheels sometimes lock when pulling backwards, the transmission lever is stiff and takes some getting used to.
