B2320HSDN Narrow

We run a cut your own Christmas tree farm in Massachusetts. The B2320HSDN was the first tractor we found to be narrow enough to drive between the trees planted 6 feet apart. We mow with a 3-point hitch finish mower and when we come to the end of a row we can turn around by hitting reverse with our heal. The 540 power take-off never slows down and we head back down another row. We also built a custom dump trailer that we use to carry compost and soil to replant the trees cut down at Christmas. We also use it to remove the stumps we pull. We have trees of all sizes in one field so it takes very narrow equipment to fit down the rows without breaking limbs. We broad cast fertilizer with a 3-point hitch spreader and the job is done without any effort with one person. Great little tractor.

Pros: With the rear tires turned it is only about 38 inches wide

Kubota B2320 Dependability Issues

My Kubota was purchased new from a local tractor dealer. In the beginning they were supportive, but now I am faced with the $150 charge for them to pick the tractor up and bring it to their dealership 15-20 miles away for any work since they no longer want to do anything on it at the farm. My tractor repeatedly has safety sensor issues and right now will not start no matter what I try, nor what the farmer down the street tries. This leaves me with no way to push up my manure pile, drag the groomer over my riding arena, or mow. I am very unhappy with this machine. Dependability was what I was looking for when I spent the money on a new tractor. Oh well, strike Kubota off the list.

Only have 16 hours and it is my first tractor but I am very impressed.

Pros: rear differential lock
Cons: Front Loader control is in the way at times

Happy So Far

With only 6 hours on the new tractor what can I say? I love the HST most of the time, but at times I miss the manual trans of my old B6200. I am assuming the reliability will remain exceptional like my B6200 was so I give the B2320 5 stars. I will be using it for general yard maintenance and snow removal with a blade and snowblower. I also have a wood splitter attachment that uses the tractor's hydraulics. The coffee cup holder is a nice touch, but why did Kubota remove the very useful lynch pin storage loops that used to be welded onto the lower lift arms of the 3 point hitch?

Pros: Size, power, reliability, value and HST.
Cons: Foot pressure for HST speed is too much. Lighter spring needed.

Does The Job

The tractors most important use is snow plowing/removal/clearing in the winter. I have a bucket and after about 5 years of snow clearing, I'm getting pretty good with my operating tact. Other uses are loading loam or other items and carrying or relocating items. I don't farm or plow, don't mow my lawn with it. I'm seriously thinking about adding a back hoe.

Pros: Perfect size for my requirements.
Cons: Really not any.

Hydraulic Lift

Good overall machine except for the three point lift system. On the 2320DT, the control sucks as far as good blade work goes. These tractors need to have a position control on all of these B models, like the older Fords, even the 9Ns. It is okay if all one wants to do is raise and lower the implement, but when you try and do fine level blade work, the hydraulic control is too rough, too much travel in the lever before a response in the implement is seen. I understand how the valve works now, but was not told this when I bought the tractor else I would have got another model or make.

Pros: Operates okay.
Cons: Poor hydraulic control.

Great Compact Tractor

This is my first go around with a compact tractor. I had a 9N then a Ford 650 for light farm work and a T/S Cub Cadet with a 50" deck for mowing. I decided to combine everything into one unit and was pleasantly surprised with the power of this tractor. It's all I need for my 10 acres at home and small enough to haul to my camp 100 miles away for work there. The only issue I've had to date is leveling the mower deck. The front right corner hangs lower than the rest of the deck and I haven't figured out (yet) how to get it perfect. I've moved plenty of dirt in the summer months and plenty of snow in the winter and it hasn't let me down. Another added bonus is fuel economy. It takes me 2.5 hours to mow the lawn and uses maybe 1.25 gallons of fuel compared to my old Cub which used nearly 5 gallons each time I mowed. Considering I mow on average twice a week, that's a nice savings.

Pros: Power and fuel economy.
Cons: Deck leveling seems cumbersome.

Great starter tractor but, you soon find out you should have bought a bigger one.

Cons: Weak hydraulics.

New Tractor

After a couple of used tractors, one grey, one green and an orange one I finally broke down a bought a brand new B2320 HST Kubota with FEL, MMM & front MTD snowblower. Because it is still new I only have good things to say, and I hope that as time goes on and I get more time on it I will still feel the same. I have added a Curtis cab, brush hog, landscape rake and am waiting for my pine-straw rake to arrive. I am planning to clear, manicure and maintain a chunk of my property and I will update my review after a few months of making the tractor earn its keep and see how I feel then.

Pros: Size, HP , attachment options.
Cons: Size, HP.

New 2013 B2320

Being new to the tractor world I decided to do some research before purchasing. I looked at a few New Holland John Deere and Kubota. After reading up on all three I decided to go with the 2320 HST and added loaded R4 tires front brush guard and a mechanical thumb on the backhoe. I will say I am impressed with this machine as its my first tractor.

Pros: Runs well plenty of power for what I need it to do.
Cons: I'm thinking a little more tracking width would be nice.

My Kubota B2320

I'm rather new to tractors so this will have to factored in to my review (less than 5 years). So far I have found so many uses for this tractor. I can do things around the property that I would never have been able to do without the tractor (re-roofed the house, pull old posts and fencing, snow removal, tree fell on house, etc). The only down side is the fluid change, oil change with the mower deck still on, removing mower blades was rather difficult.

Pros: Great on fuel, does the necessary jobs.
Cons: Initial fluid change, engine oil change, sharpening blades.

Great little tractor. A little light, but perfect for small tracts. We have 10 acres. Have a loader bucket and bush hog. Use it for landscaping, mowing, and snow removal.

Pros: Reliability, 4wd, diesel fuel economy.
Cons: Light.

Great Small Tractor

This is my first tractor purchase, but it has been a great machine. No issues in the time I've owned it. I use it like a Swiss Army knife, moving dirt one day with the FEL and box blade and mowing with the drive over mower deck the next. I purchased with the FEL, backhoe, box blade, brush hog, and 60" mower deck. it has performed every task I needed it to and done them better than I expected.

Pros: Everything about it!
Cons: I had to pay for it. Being small, it is light. Not really a con, but more a fact of life.

B2320 Review

I own a small hobby farm and handyman business and this tractor is exactly what I was looking for. So far, I've put the loader to the test and moved several hundred yards of fill around a pool area. It is reliable and the dealership's support is what convinced me to go this route.

Pros: Reliable, great performance.
Cons: Slightly underpowered.

Attachments: Front End Loader (FEL) Usage: Use this little one more than I thought I would. Get about 16 hours of operation from 5 gallons of fuel, great in tight spaces like corrals, barns, feed pens, between trees. 700 pounds of lift in the bucket and being 4 wheel drive you can get out once it is loaded as long as you have some counter weight. Another option is fluid in the tires, relieves the need for counter weight at the rear end which keeps it short. Wishes: Wish I had the external circuits added for additional implements. Doing it after the fact will make it more expensive. Have over 50 hours on it now.

Pros: Light, maneuverable and stingy on fuel.
Cons: Not enough flow to lift and curl the bucket at the same time. Not really an issue once you get used to the limitation.

B2330 HSD with Loader

Great compact tractor, very glad I got it rather than a BX with those tiny wheels. Can't beat the hydro-static drive, loader is excellent. I have turf tires- don't let dealer talk you into Industrial if you will do a lot of finish mowing. Turf tires are fine with loader digging into manure pile and fill piles. Really like the 3 drive ranges, JD only give two.

Pros: Not too big, not too little, very reliable, 3 drive ranges.
Cons: Should have a detachable bucket, then you can leave the loader frame on, but just get bucket out of the way.

Surprised at How Much We Use It

Bought for hobby farm use, but seems to be something we get out nearly every day and use. First time we have had a tractor, got it just after we bought this place, 46 acres of woods. Only real problem was that the bucket controller broke, seems to have been assembled incorrectly. Fixed at no cost. Still feel like it sticks once in a while if you use lift and dump at the same time.

Pros: Easy to service, handy to have.
Cons: None.

First Tractor

It's is my first tractor other than a Deere LX176 lawn model. Needless to say I am having a great time. Only one problem so far. Doing a coin flip to determine if my son or myself gets to use it. This is a very well made and capable tool. More to come.

Pros: Very well thought out and capable features.
Cons: Some of the controls bezels are plastic and not consistent with the rest of the tractor.

Great little tractor. The factory could do a little better QC when shipping out the product. A couple of nuts and bolts were loss and on the linkages to the mower deck they never bent the cotter pins which fell out while in use which resulted in damage to the deck linkage which they fixed asap.

Pros: Hydro-stat is fantastic.
Cons: None so far.

Little Titan

Overall I'm happy with the B2300HST and it's capabilities. I purchased the tractor with mid-mount mower and front loader. I first thought the loader was an overkill considering the amount of property we have but, as an old guy with arthritis problems, it has been a god-send. The loader can be mounted or removed in about 5 minutes while the mower deck takes a little longer. We had owned a 2WD, Std transmission B8200 Kubota with a Woods belly mount mower for nearly 25 years. It was time we acquired something more modern.

Pros: Ease of operation.
Cons: Safety equipment. A couple of times it has been difficult to start.
