RTV 9000 A Pig in the Hills
Model Year: 2013
After my wife took-over our ClubCar (gas with the dump bed), I thought I treat myself another Kubota machine around the ranch. We have an L-39, which is the best product, of any kind, I've ever owned. Unfortunately, the RTV is a real pig. It will only see 25mph going down hill. Up hill, on a modest county road, it drops to 10-12 mph. Feels like it wants to die. Not a problem if you live on flat land, and don't want to go trail riding with our buddies. The second drawback, is that the massive looking trailer hitch assembly is only rated for a 110 lb loan. Yes; 110 lbs. It looks strong, but upon investigation one notes that it attached to the leaf spring/axle bracket. Really! That the best they could do? It's not as sexy, but the Club Car is by far a better machine for the hobby farmer. Had ours for ten years and it scoots, with up to 1,000 in the dump. Bot used for $4,500, with low hours.
Pros: Well build, dependable
Cons: Super slow. Weak trailer hitch (only 110 Lbs)
