Ferguson TO-35
I bought a Ferguson to-20 at an auction last year. It had a rops on it with a tag with the following info:

Custom products of Litchfield, Inc
Litchfield Minn: 55355. Phone: (612) 693 3221

Serial no: cp44-4-42
Fits models: 7-8-9-1200 series
3800-4600
Rops/vehicle test wt: 10450
Appr. No.: R-6??
STDs. Met sae S306.3

Enclosed is also a pic. The company is still in business. Anyone knows what 7-8-9-1200 represents, and what s306.3 is?

Thanks
Billy

Ferguson has no 7,8, or 9 series, and d neither does Ford, so that is why I am posting this here.

I take it that it's a typo in the thread title... 'rops', not "roos".

Roos had me confused as there wasn't even a mention of wallabies, pademellons or potaroos. :confused3:

Yes you are correct. It is ROPS. I tried changing it after I posted, but I cannot edit the title, only the contents.

Confused me, too, so I changed it. Sorry I have no answer for your question, though.

If the company still exists maybe a phone call is in order?
Looks like they are still in business and making cabs: Custom Products of Litchfield, Inc.
If its by series, Ford had a 700, 800, 900, 1200, 3800 and 1600 series tractors, but they are very different sizes, so unless it is an adjustable width, it seems that shouldn't fit all of them.
As for S306.3, per https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg...l/CFR-2000-title29-vol9-part1928-subpartC.xml there is a ASAE Standard S306.3-1974 titled "Protective Enclosures for Agricultural Tractors—Test Procedures and Performance Requirements", so that is probably the test specifications.

Yes, good stuff.. Researching this further it seems that s306 and some other requirements were rolled up into a new requirement.

The width of the rops is not adjustable, and if my memory serves the holes for mounting are 47 inches apart.

The ROPS are obviously not original to the tractor. From those model numbers I would guess it probably was salvaged from a Case.
