Value of a Toro Z Master 252

I'm looking at buying a Toro Z Master 252, I think it's a 01 or 02 model,
has the older 52" deck and 21Hp Kohler. decals are all scratched off.
It needs 2 new tires, belts and the deck has been bent but can be repaired.
has 350hrs. runs good.
LMK what you think on value.

I have a Toro Z master. About a 2002 model. Toro bought Exmark around 2000. The z master was the same mower as the Exmark Lazer Z in the early years, except the deck was a stamped deck in the Toro and welded deck in the Exmark. I believe they now use the same deck. I have about 280 hours on mine. I have the 27hp Kaw motor and 52" deck. Way more motor than deck, but mows great. Lots of power. They are a commercial quality machine and I have had no major issues with it. Routine maintenance, battery, slime the tires for flats. I would have no issues buying a Z Master.

I bought my Z master new for $5100. That was $100 over dealer cost. The price of these machines have gone up a lot for new ones.

It's always tough to estimate a value of a machine in need of repairs.

this one has the older deck that was not the quality of the newer models.
I think the deck can be fixed w/ minimal costs.
the only other thing I would need to do is put 2 new tires on it and some new belts.
the Kohler engine runs good.
I think I can get this one for under $2K.
seems like a no brainer to me, but just wanted to check.

I have a 2008 453 (23hp Kawasaki, 52" turbo force deck.) I paid $7300 for mine with the upgraded suspension seat. At the same time I could have bought a cheaper, yet still commercial version for around $6200. That model sounds like the one you are considering. Based on that info and the condition of the unit, I would not pay any over $2000.

I am very happy with my machine.

Why does it need new tires and belts? With that few of hours, both should be in very good condition. Is the hour meter correct? Has it been replaced?

Even the stamped decks are quite durable. I have hit a few items that has killed my 27hp motor. What is the cause of the dent? This machine may have had a rougher (or longer) life than its hours suggest.

yea, it's been ridden hard.
I think the guy let his wife mow w/ it and she hit some stumps or something.
that is what bent the deck.
the belts just look worn, they may last a while longer.
she must have hit something and cut one of the tires also.
they both have cuts in them on the side.
