Well, I got some seat time today, mostly shuttling road base for road and driveway maintenance. So far, everything about this tractor is pretty nice. There is some work to do. The seat is stuck in place, ad the 3pt lever is hard to move.

Biggest thing is, I already miss my TnT. I'll set this one up, but it is not in the budget for a while. Same for scraper. Gotta run a 5' for a bit till I save for a 6'.

I think the bucket holds twice what my old one did. Still wanting to go reverse on the HST with my heel like the old tractor. It is very comfortable to operate.

Pics are of old and "new". My old Kubota was a great tractor, but underpowered. Used it for a long time though. It was 19hp. Really a step to a much larger tractor, size and HP.

Robert, the seat slides have adjustments you can get to through slots on the outside portion of the slide. I adjusted and lubed mine to make the seat slide very easy.

Your 3PH being stiff requires adjustment of the castle-nut where the rotating shaft enters the lift cover. It's kinda hard to get to and much easier if you remove the right-rear wheel. I replaced the cotter key with a hairpin on my tractor so I could pull it from the rear and make adjustments in the future without removing the wheel.

EDIT: I added a picture of the 3PH castle nut. Yours won't look exactly like this because my picture shows a remote valve installed just below the shaft for the 3PH. The mechanism in front of the shaft is the lever for the 1st remote. You should have a lot more room and might be able to remove the cotter key and turn the castle nut without removing the wheel.

Funny, I have no name yet, and never did name the Kubota, or the old Farmall. Thought about it, maybe "Big Blue", but probably a lot of blue tractors out there named "Blue: :D

I will look some more at the seat and levers. Still waiting for the books too; my local dealer had this in on consignment; it was a one owner tractor. The old owner just has not got those books yet for the tractor. He is suppossed to have everything for the laoader/tractor/rotary mower; all are NH bought together originally.

One thing you'll quickly enjoy is the 4 link bucket. In the cases where traction is an issue (and you got stuck) that 4 link arrangement will allow you to push backward and out of problem situations better (because you can roll the bucket more). I'm really used to the side by side HST pedals (just plant my heel and roll from pedal to pedal) but I'm sure the treadle is nice too. These are very good machines. How do you like the dual power buttons?

How many hours do you have?

Nice tractor upgrade. Mine is a shuttle shift with a 16LA loader. The only issue I have had is the loader arm holes for the 4 bucket mount pins are very worn and sloppy. The pins are perfect

You probably have the newer style loader with replaceable bushings. Either way, keep those pins well greased, they do take a beating from the power of the tractor. I usually have my backhoe on and my tires are loaded. That weight and traction combines to put a heck of a lot of push on the loader bucket for a fairly small tractor.

Have fun!
Dave.

It had 475 when I got it. I've put an hour on it! I really have a tone of work to do with it, but have been side tracked by rain, house remodel, and taking care of my Grandmother. This tractor will be getting some hours pretty soon :D

I like the dual power buttons. Partly for load handling, and partly for changing speed to maneuver around all the trees around here.

I will definitely keep it greased. I stayed on top of that with the old tractor too. Grease is cheap compared to repairs. And it keeps things working smooth.
