I've got 3 if you count the garden tractor... use the BX23 at least times more than the others together...

I've got 3 tractors and my BX23 is the biggest  :D

Lutt, Although my BX23 is the right machine for my ponderosa & purposes, you're intended uses and lay-of-the-land dictates at least a B series. I wouldn't consider anything under a B2620 and would look hard at the B2630 and/or B3030.
Course thats putting you in a much higher $$$ category and if $$$'s are the main consderation, the B2620 would be as small as I'd go, new.
W/the B2620 you get the suspended MMM like the BX but more all around power, higher FEL lift and load, more 3ph lift & load and much higher ground clearances for when you're in the woods.
The BX's have an HST cooling fan thats in harms way when they are operated in debris strewn areas and that fan is expensive and labor consuming to replace. A skidplate pretty much mitigates that problem but you still have the lower ground clearance issue.
The B series on the other hand uses the std automotive type HST heat exchanger mounted in front of the radiator and has double the ground clearance. No HST fan to damage by wayward branches :D

I really like my BX23. It's a great little tractor that does most all of what I need it to do. But I only have alittle over 4 acres and I've tamed the land to where my main task is keeping it finished mowed. I tamed it w/a much bigger tractor btw.
Good luck
Dave

Thanks for the info Dave. Your in the same league as the others as on the B, I am gonna look at the B and L's when I get home from work in Feb. I have been cleaning up my personal property with a backhoe. So the woods wont be much of a issue. Well woods are always a issue, I have been cleaning up the brush and saplings and leaving the good timber. Far as the other places go it is just a matter of property maintence, spreading gravel and a little bushogging. Yeah money is always a issue, I dont want to spend it though and get it home and be disappointed. Thanks Lutt

By the way Dave, the cooling fan issue would def. have to be addressed if I got the BX. Also coukd you give me some information of your altenator welder, Ive been thinking about putting one on my old jeep tj. I think it would be really handy. Thanks. Lutt
