Buying a refurbed tractor

   / Buying a refurbed tractor #41
Am i crazy or did i just read this about an hour or 2 ago and it said $6500 for a 17 hp tractor with loader and ROPS and PTO sheild with less than 800 hours? Then had his website to look at. Maybe this was a different post i read it on, casue this guy has posted to a bunch of stuff lately about how he can get and ship tracotrs.
i've been doing tractors for 12yrs and making loaders too.that was a 19 hp.we sold mostly to dealers.but we now sell to all.but we are in the northwest.we sold loaders to lots of dealers. Ray

Scotty,
A friend of mine is selling his Chinese tractor. Its a second tractor he doesn't really need. He told me he just put it out in front of his house for sale this week. Its a Kama ts354C which is a 4 Cyl. 35HP diesel tractor w/ 4WD and loader. He keeps it in his garage, don't know about the previous owner but fenders show some paint fading and it only has a couple hundred hours on it. He's the second owner. I don't know if you'd be interested nor if its too big or small. Send me a PM if interested and I'll get some pics and more info.

This is truly what makes this forum great. Members helping other members out.

Thanks for the offer on the Chinese tractor but really concerned about parts etc. I have done a lot of research and I think the Yanmar is the best quality and best deal with good parts supply and enough out there for dealer - both domestic and imported versions and forum support to get them back up and running. Thank you very much and if you see a Yanmar - please let me know!!!

A 30 yr old yanmar from a reliable dealer would serve you better than a new chinese tractor. The dealer I bought my yanmar from also sold new chinese tractors. He had some chinese tractors that he had bought back because of all the problems that customers had. He no longer sells chinese tractors

There are several empty lots around here from people selling Chinese tractors. I hope that they did not lose their shirts. I read there was 17 mfrs. of Chinese tractors, and several had defaulted and gone broke in the US? The color keeps changing at the last remaining lot? I would be concerned about getting good quality parts.?

This makes sense. But if that is the rule how can Ken Sweet ID name SweetTractors always put what he has for sale and the price. He always jumps in on posts say about tilers and says he has a new hawk line 60" tiller for $1495 + shipping. Heck he even starts a bunch of threads on some new refurbashed piece of equiptment that he is trying to sell!!

Maybe its cause he is a paid advertiser so they tollerate it from him??

ok coldwater is a advertiser now. thanks all
