Document preparation fees--RIPOFF

I too used to think doc fees were as big a rip-off as the service charges at the dealership. Then I had my wife's vehicle in for some service ...... service writer called me to say it needed a new muffler bearing. I said "Whaaaaa ?????" Rushed right down there, he takes me out back to show me.

Now that I see they are honest, I don't second guess them anymore.

It is a known fact that low taillight fluid will contribute to early demise of the muffler bearing.

People might laugh. But My recient used car apparently had never had the air changed.Shortly after getting it home the tire light came on, I equalized all the tires and the light still remained on.
The next day i pulled all four valves stems. and then re inflated to 35 lobs and then the light went out..Apparently there is a difference in the air.Perhaps it needed 'country' air and not the 'city' air...:laughing:

Thats weird, the last muffler I put on a car was blown open, and all the muffler bearings were gone. Must have been burned up already or fell out. I also change the air in my tires, the air in your tires can get a lot of moisture in them to the point it will rain inside your tires.

And dangerous loss of traction/ hydroplaning.

I had snow in the inside of my tires....guess cause I'm in north Idaho. It snows everywheres up here. Now i need to find a snowblower that will fit inside of my tires to keep the rims clear. I had a bearing go out in my spark plug that caused a failure of the ionic combustion chamber next to the frequency generator....at least i think thats what the mechanic told my wife  :D

OP here. this thread is so far off topic by now it is inane, and the laughs you are providing me make driving an 11, oops, 12 year old truck almost worthwhile again.

Keep it going !!

WARNING, WARNING.....did you ALSO change the air in the spare tire? VERY IMPORTANT, otherwise, the city air in that spare will gradually migrate to the other four tires and the problem will recur.

Those of you who own a vehicle with no spare tire may ignore this important safety tip.

Yeiks... i never thought about that. If i add summer air to the spare, maybe i can let it out in the winter and melt some snow off of my property.
