Go to TSA and buy a Shepard's Staff and cut it to the length you want. Anything gets in your way it won't stay there long.

Might I suggest you post some pics of your carvings?
I think that in some States, that would be considered a "concealed weapon"? Perhaps, it would be in the Buyer's best interest to check in regards their State Law Enforcement Statues. There may be also local ordinances to consider. Just a thought? The reason that I mentioned this, is because a fellow worker of mine years ago had one behind the seat of his pickup and he was charged and convicted.
I don't know how I ever beat Bird on this post, but I'm sure he's gonna recommed a Bubba-Stik.About anything you whack with that hame ball on the end of the stick will be convinced to go away.
Also, a popular wood for walking sticks here in Texas is Crape Myrtle.
:laughing::laughing:Yep, I carry mine when I take the dog for a walk, and even sometimes when I just go to the mall. And while I like Amazon for a lot of things, I've bought at least 4 Bubba Stiks a whole lot cheaper at Love's Travel Stops.
