I have kind of a yearly tradition starting 15 or so years ago. Brunch, with a Prawn and Artichoke Heart Frittata. This year was different though. My MIL is awesome. But, she had a stroke three months ago, and is in a care home. Today, we were able to bring her back home for the morning, and have our traditional brunch frittata. She liked it a lot. So did my wife.
I have never had a family member who was beyond the care I could provide. So it was special to have her home, at least for a few hours. Her stroke was the first time as volunteer firefighter/emt, that I had to call 911 myself. It was strange having the engine and medic unit show up at our place(we have a granny flat on the property), and take away a loved one. It was nice to have her home, even if for just a few hours.
To see he smile, and her compliments about that frittata, was just awesome

You ever foil wrap the veggies and throw them in with the ribs? My Mom has done that for decades... Love veggies that way.

My wife has our property on a garden tour June-2; everything till then is garden garden garden.
June-3 though, is on a sailboat on the Bay I have a 30' boat reserved. It is the sister to this boat, although Risky has had the diesel motor removed. It was replaced with batteries and electric motor.
