I always wondered if pressure washing could force water into the zerks, likely not, but then the grease flies everywhere, including on the ground which is not cool.
My local dealer will not pressure wash a tractor...won't spend the money on the floor water recovery system. But when it's in for servicing (mostly new tractor add ons) I get them to wash it, which
they do by hand.
For those of us who play in the mud, this is a real issue. I started a thread awhile back about using water inside the cab. The reaction was mixed, but expectedly conservative. I use a small Makita cordless hand blower (expensive but
HIGHLY recommended for those who are tired of throwing out Black and Deckers) and blow out the cab, starting with the floor first, both doors open. Not real clean in there now, but when it's below zero out, 12 at the moment, no way
am I spraying anything in there. It's not just the mud outside....I track it into the cab constantly.
I usually have more wax on my lawn mowers than most people have on their cars, but the Kubota is a challenge living in an unheated open shed.
I keep having to tell my wife, this is not a car dear...
Otherwise, as soon as it gets warm enough, a good hose squirt off is in order. Full wash later. If conditions are dry, I think compressed air is safer, but I avoid instrument panels and engines carefully.
