Nice job on the shelter.

Always interested in seeing lighting mods...

 This time I'm removing all the OEM cab lights (Front & Rear) and installing new LED's in their place so anyone who have thought about ever doing such a terrible thing can see it done soon by me. The tractor is out and waiting to get in the shop. The first step is to shoot a video with the OEM cab lights on in the dark then do the install and do another video with the new LED's. This time I'll take still images of both lights and post them to show the difference if there's any difference at all. :confused3:

Ok I gotta ask. Is theft a major issue up there? For the most part I'm not worried about much theft in my neighborhood at all. But you have a shelter that would require substantial equipment to break into or move. But then you've gone beyond that with a siren and then the ultimate step of the gps tracker. Crap, if they have the gonads to still take it off site, they must need it a whole lot more than I would.

No I can't say it's a major issue but it do happen. Considering I'm doing this myself and getting ideas along the way I always say to myself "Why not" so i just go and do it. The GPS tracking was cheap (Free) and the alarm system was on sale for $20. so it was a no brainer. Building it like I did should last a very long time. If a fire starts inside the shelter the surrounding area is safe. If a fire starts outside the shelter the Generator might survive. If a tree blows down on it the generator is safe. It's heavy enough that four strong men wouldn't lift it to steal it and it won't blow over. It don't look too intrusive where it resides so I think for a shelter it has all the quality's to call it the perfect shelter (For me anyway)

I like the gen shelter also. My generator is really loud but I don't really have a great spot for a shed for it.

I'm sorry to say in the long run the front fenders won't work out for your BX. Its like getting a transplant from the wrong kind of blood type. Your Kubota will reject them because they are Deere and they will rot and fall off.

As I replied on the video. This generator seems loud because of the mic I used but in reality It's very quiet. Some gen sets are screamers and you can hear them a mile away. Honda's are traditionally a quieter generator.

No rejection yet on the fenders. When they first arrived we removed them from the box and they went into a detox program for 30 days. After the installation we put them on antibiotic's. Every now and then they do start to turn a little green so we increase the meds and all is good :D

Well today my buddy BelarusBulldog dropped by the shop. He got to see the shelter first hand. He bought the same generator so he's got a few ideas now for his. He bought a new 4 wheeler bike and asked wifey to design so emblems for both his helmets to match his new bike. He sure looked happy when he left.

Good improvement, great execution... and nice video, too. Glad you are posting projects again. I don't watch TV, so I really enjoy these "reality" shows from time to time. Let's not be hoping for snow quite yet, though.
