1994 Ford F600 Dump Truck - Engine Light help

Hi Guys,
Finally got a new (old) Kioti Hauler. A 1994 Ford F600 Dump with a 7.0 gas V-8. Just drove her home and the engine light came on and off intermitently.
Can you help me? I'm trying to first figure out how to determine what was setting the light off? Looked under the dash and could not find ODB plug, is there on this truck? If so, where? If not, how can I tell what is setting the light off?

First off what is the 7.0 motor?

I dont think a 600 series truck has a obd plug.

If it has not been driven 2000 miles in the last 30 day I would not be too concerned about intermittent CEL flashing in that era truck.

We have a 1989 carbed 429 F700 w/16' flat dump. We bought it 300 miles from home and dumped in 1/2 gallon of Sea Foam before we started home since the truck had set a lot for several years. It sit sets most of the time but we put 200 miles on it getting horse hay in July and this past Saturday we put 200 miles on it going to pick and bring home a two year old portable 10'x20' running in horse barn w/tack room. We were quoted $500 (a fair price) to get it hauled so we used the truck and the $400 saved (fuel was $100 including the flagging vehicle) will pay the insurance for a year and some upkeep.

F600 is a great size and what I would have preferred that size but we found this F700 in 2010 for $2850. For moving dirt is is super but a tad high for hauling hay, buildings, etc. The pintle hitch is great for pulling heavy loaded trailers.

You may want to do what we have not done yet and that is to do a full tune up including new spark wire set.

i will do tune up good advice
is there anyway to read the light codes?

Is there a trick to reading the codes like key on press brake, light flashes a count? I'd like to diagnose but not sure how to start? Also, any good sources for truck parts, local ford dealership knows nothing about large trucks.

O Riley auto parts around here is the best place for parts. Better than Napa or the dealer on the Chevy C60 and Ford F700 I maintain.
