Tractor
ford jubilee & foton 404
I bought tractor used with a box blade. It raised fine to load it on the trailer and hasn't worked since. The front bucket raises and lowers ok, but the 3pt won't. lej.

I am real new to tractors and my "new to me" 2004 Foton 404 so my technical experience and advice will be limited but i'll do my best. While I am learning to use it I have noticed that the draft control lever is highly interactive with the 3 point height adjust. Move your draft control into various positions while you are troubleshooting.

Also there is a bypass control valve behind an oval rubber body panel plug just below the seat. All the way loose is maximum bypass and implements fall faster all the tight is less bypass and implements fall slower. Somewhere in between is a good setting so the movement is not jerky.

Also heavier implements may require higher RPM are you running lower RPM or running at idle to raise it.

Check fluid level for hydraulics, my fill and dipstick are on the back left side of the hydraulic sump. Your 2006 may be different because it's newer but should be roughly in the same place.

Thats about all I can think of right now.

THANK YOU! I'll check the adjustment under the seat. I've got an old Jubilee and the draft and implement is strictly one or the other. I'll play with that as well. LARRY.
