All of 1 freaking degree here in the mitten. My dogs only stayed out for about 10 minutes, they usually stay out for a hour or so. Not dumb dogs!! Going to do more snow work, try out my new gloves. Have a good one!

16 degrees right now...a high of 13 predicted and a very cold minus 9 tonight.
My back is a bit stiff from shoveling snow yesterday...but I'm going to shovel a path off the back deck for the dog today. She can't squat to pee when the snow is up to her ***.

My boxer girl is the same, she doesn't want anything touching her butt. :(

Yeah...our's peed on the deck (since I shoveled it yesterday). When she went out to take a dump, she circled around to tramp down the snow, then did her business.
Smart dogs, these Boxers!

64F, no measurable rain last 24 hours.

Have to go into town, visit HD and plumbing supply.

Happy Hour hosted at our place this afternoon. I made some really good meatballs for spaghetti.

Have a great day.

Oh sure, now you tell us about happy hour when we would need a supersonic plane to get there on time.

Snow is cleared. It was 6* when I started, and it's 18* now. The temperature tripled while I was out. That sounds warmer. The winds are light and it's sunny.

Forecast low is -14*F tonight but who knows.

Good Morning. 1050, clear, 45* with 76% humidity. Forecast high of 58*. I saw 34* at 0700, but there was still ice in the cat's water bowl out under the shed just now, so it was colder than that.

Wayne, my Feather Craft is a Vagabond II. It was missing the seat cushions and windshield, but otherwise was in good shape. And I'm just guessing on the year, using Feather Craft - Intro || Welcome for info. I bought it without a title, and it was easier and cheaper getting a title to call it homemade. So I covered up all the Feather Craft logos in case they asked to look at it. {they didn't} The serial number was torn off, and I haven't dug around to find the stamped one. As you can see, I painted it with rattle cans of spray paint. Maybe posting this picture will prompt me to do some much needed work on it.

Tim,

Gosh that looks more like a Ranger III than a Vagabond, but what to heck do I know. You will find the serial number stamped into the aluminum, would be interesting to see when it was manufactured gosh wish you were closer I would take it off your hands, way too much work to finish that off LOL.
My projects always run into too darn many to do and I have to wait till spring to start any of them and there is that darn fly fishing habit, and once that is over there is pike fishing and before you know it I am back in late fall with zero time to do anything. My buddy has a Ranger III and he has polished the aluminum to a point you can see your face in the side. Lots of work and little time to actually enjoy the darn thing. Mine will move right along and can be a bit scary at top end.

Wayne

Maybe one or two of these will get you thinking about a work project

you sure wouldn't want to put your wet fingers on that boat right now...well up here anyway, or you would be permanently attached.

as someone who has owned a large boat and thankfully sold it, I can say from experience, "a fool and his money are quickly departed".
Now substitute "enthusiast" and fool and well you get the point. Me too...

got chewed out by the surgeon for my snow activities yesterday, he doesn't want my stitches stretched. Ok ok. Won't happen again. Until we get three inches tomorrow which just might happen. Maybe another case of beer to the neighbor and let him do it.
but the good part is that my melanoma labs came back, all negative, good margins. These guys's idea of good margins seems to be about an inch, but what do I know. As the umpire says "you're out of here".

40° this morning on my thermometer. But when I went out to car there was frost on it's windows. This is getting serious. My friends up north need to keep their cold up north. Nice 65° our here on the patio now.
