Newby to tractor net and extreamly new to the country way of life!

Hey all a little about me and my current situation! I work as a equipment engineer for a automotive manufacture. I recently moved to the country and I must say I was not ready for all that hit me square in the face! I purchased a home that sits on 11 acres and i'm in the process of mowing and cleaning the grounds as they have been vacant for 4 years or so. I purchased a 1982 kabota l185 to help with the cores. I am hopeful that I can acquire some quick knowledge to aid me in starting a garden and other Farm things in the future to make my life a little more painless during this huge learning adventure!

Welcome to TBN, I don't garden so I can't help, but check out some threads by bp fick as he has done quite a bit and has some good threads on it and the small Kubotas.

Welcome to TBN. Avoid the temptation to put out a huge garden your first year. May I suggest getting a walk behind tiller(ideally used) to create a small 250-500 SF garden your first year.
