Hi all,
I have a 2006 MF GC2310. About a month ago, I was mowing the lawn. When I finished and stopped the PTO and turned the tractor off. Ever since then, it will not start again.
When I turn the key to the right, I get nothing. I used to hear the fuel pump for a few seconds or if I turn the key to the left, I would hear something click after like 10 seconds or so, glow plug warmer (maybe - not sure). I bought a new battery, I have checked every fuse I can find for continuity, but I still get nothing when I turn the key.
The flashers work, but they appear to have nothing to do with the ignition.
I get 12v at the battery, 12v at the center wire going to the ignition and 12v down at the solenoid. I don't know how to test the ignition nor do I know how to test any of the neutral safety switches.
The bucket is down flat on the ground, so I don't even know how I could get it on a trailer and take it to the dealer.
If any of you guys have any tips or ideas for me to try, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks in advance,
Ed
